Heidelberg Pain Consortium Scientists Honored
At thsi year's German Pain Congress Heidelberg Pain Consortium scientist Linette Tan, PhD (Project B01) was honored with the first prize for basic science for her work on the connectivity between the MCC and the posterior insula ( Tan et al. 2017). Each year, first and second prizes in both clinical and basic research are awarded at the German Pain Congress in Mannheim. The prize is sponsored by Grünenthal.
Further, Drs. Carmen Laporta (Project S01) and Johann Jende (Project A03) were awarded poster prizes at the congress.
